A Petition of Thomas Nicholl< no role > one of the
High Constables for the Hundred of Gore being presented to this Court
Setting forth That he was Sworn into the said Office on the 14th. day of
September One thousand Seven hundred and Seventy Two and has
Executed the same to the best of his Knowledge and ability and is
near Sixty Years of Age and a Bricklayer by Trade by which he
Supports himself and family but having had the misfortune some
Years ago to break his Leg which ever since has rendered him in [..]
at times of transacting even his own private Business and prayer of
to be discharged from the said Office and this Court being satisfied a [..]
the premises and Thomas Coomber< no role > of Kingsbury in the sa [..]
County Gentleman being recommended to this Court by Three
of his Majestys Justices of the peace residing in and acting for the
said Hundred as a fit and proper person to serve the said
Office This Court doth hereby appoint the sd Thomas Co [..]
to be one of the High Constables within the said Hundred of Gor [..]
in the place and Stead of the sd. Thomas Nicholl< no role > and the sd
Thos Coombes< no role > being now here in his own proper person in
Open Cant took his Oath for the due Execution of the sd. Office [..]
and the sd Thos. Nicholl< no role > is hereby absolutely discharged from
his said Office

Ordered that the Statutes at Large made & passed
the Cast Session of Parliament be procured forthwith for the Use of
this Court
