laid before this Court an Account of his Expence in
providing Coals and Candles for the Justices during the holding
the Sessions of the peace and at their other Meetings upon public
Occasions and it appearing that the Expence of Coals alone
amount to near Thirty Pounds for which he has had only for the
fourteen Years past an annual allowance of Eight Pounds and
praying a further allowance for the same Mr. White was ordered [..]
withdraw and being withdrawn A Motion was made
that the Consideration of a proper allowance to Mr. John White< no role >
for his Expences in providing the Justices with Coals and Candles
during the holding of their Sessions and other public Meetings
at Hicks Hall be referred to the committee appointed to carry into
immediate and Effectual Execution the Repair of New Prison
and
Clerkenwell Bridewell
and the same was ordered Accordingly and
further that the said Committee so Report their Opinion out of
what fund such allowance may be made
