Orders for passing Vagrants; he was called in and the said Constable appearing
also, and the Matter of the Complaint being fully proved; the sd. Constable
was admonished, and advised to pay a due Regard to the said Orders
for the future And his Claim of a Sum of Money pretended to be due to
him from the County was disallowed.

And Whereas the said James Sturges Adams by Virtudes of the
said Orders of Sessions has been allowed and paid for the Subsistance of
such Vagrants as have been lodged at his House Two Pence & Day and
for there lodged at Stains Coles brook and South Mims under the Restriction
mentioned in the Report of the Commee made to the Court on the first
of March last Three pence P Day; which Allowance of Two pence & Diem
he submitted to the Commee was in sufficient and prayed the same
might be advanced upon which your Commee taking the same into
Consideration are of Opinion that the be allowed One penny more & Diem
for each Vagrant to be subsisted at his own house so as the same do not
exceed Nine Pence each Person so lodged at his House.

Your Committee then took into Consn the Letter of the Deputy
Clerk of the Peace of the North Riding of Yorkshire relating to the Complaint
of the Sessions for Middlesex against the late irregularities in the passing
of Vagrants from the said Riding, made some Progress therein, and
adjourned the further Considerations of the said Letter and Irregularities
to the next Meeting of the Commee.

Also at this Commee Mr Birkhead communicated the Proposal
of a Workman for necessary Repairs of Brentford Bridge which
Proposal so farr as it went the Commee approved of, and requested Mr.
Birkhead would get a further Proposal from the said Workman for doing
the whole Business requisite and for what Sum the said Workman would
compleat and finish the whole, And make his Report on the County Day
of this Session.

All which your Committee submit to the Judgement of the
Court.

Which report being read and approved of is in all things
Confirmed by this Court.

Tuesday before next
Session}

Ordered that a Commee of his Majestys Justices of
the Peace for this County the Summoned to meet at Hicks Hall
on Tuesday the Nineteenth day of February next by Nine of the
Clock in the forenoon on the affairs of this County to proceed on
Business by Ten of the Clock precisely.
