By adjournment on Thursday the fourth day of December 1755 .

Order for Mr. Higgs Trearer
to pay £84.5s.0d to the Inspectors
of the distempered Cattle

An Account being laid before this Court by the Inspectors appointed to endeavour
to put a Stop to the Spreading of the Distemper amongst the Horned Cattle in this County
of moneys alledged to be due to them for their Service the Total of which Account
amounts to the Sum of Eighty four pounds and five shillings which Account is as followeth

And it appearing to this Court by Writing under the Hands of Theodore Sydenham< no role >
Thomas Jervis< no role > and Bartholomew Hammond< no role > Esqrs . three of his Majestys Justices
of the peace for this County that they have examined the said Account and there is
due to the said Inspectors for their respective Allowances to the eighteenth day of
October last the said Sum of eighty four pounds and five shillings It is Ordered
by this Court that Mr. John Higgs< no role > Treasurer of this County do pay to the said
Inspectors respectively the respective Sums of money above mentioned written over
against their respective Names amounting to the said Sum of eighty four pounds
and five shillings And that the respective Receipts of the said Inspectors
together with this Order shall be a sufficient Discharge to the said Treasurer for
such payment.

By adjournment on Thursday the fourth day of December 1755 .

to pay £2.13s.4d to Mr. Wm.
Pentlow for Repairs done
at New Prison and for the
Intermt. of Prisoners.

An Account being laid before this Court by Mr. William Pentlow< no role > Keeper of
New Prison at Clerkenwell in this County of moneys by him paid for Repairs
done at New Prison aforesaid and for the Interment of Prisoners who died in
the said Prison accounting to the Sum of two pounds thirteen shillings and
four pence And it appearing to this Court by Writing under the Hands of
George Errington< no role > Bartholomew Hammond< no role > and Theodore Sydenham< no role > Esqrs.
three of his Majestys Justices of the Peace for the said County that they have
examined the said Account and that the same amounts to the aforesaid Sum of
two pounds thirteen shillings and four pence It is thereupon Ordered by this
Court that Mr. John Higgs< no role > Treasurer of this County do pay the said Sum of two pounds
thirteen shillings and four pence unto the said William Pentlow< no role > in full of his said demand
whose Receipt together with this Order shall be a sufficient Discharge to the said
Treasurer for such payment.
