By adjournmt. on Thursday the fourth twenty third day of October December1755

Order for Mr. Higgs Trearer
to pay £72.12s.6d to Edward
Umfreville Esqr. Coroner on
Account of taking Inquisitions

An Account of Inquisitions being produced before this Court by Edward Umfreville< no role >
Esqr . one of the Coroners of this County therein mentioning the same to be taken on View of
dead Bodies in the said County since the thirteenth day of May 1755 and chargeable on
the said County pursuant to an Act of Parliament made in the twenty fifth year of
King George the second which Account begins on the fifteenth day of May aforesd.
and ends on the fifteenth day of October last therein mentioning the dead Bodies
viewed to be sixty four in number and that there is due to the said Coroner the
Sum of Seventy two pounds twelve shillings and six pence for his Coroners Fee
and for the number of Miles by him travelled on Account of taking the said
Inquisitions And it appearing unto this Court by Writing under the Hands of
Bartholomew [..] Hammond< no role > and Francis Bedwell< no role > Esqrs . two of his
Majestys Justices of the peace for the said County that they had examined
the said Account and that there is due to the said Edward Umfreville the
aforesaid Sum of Seventy two pounds twelve shillings and six pence It is
thereupon Ordered by this Court that Mr. John Higgs< no role > Treasurer of
this County do pay the said Sum of Seventy two pounds twelve shillings
and six pence unto the said Edward Umfreville< no role > in full of his said Demand
whose Receipt together with this Order shall be a sufficient Discharge
to the said Treasurer for such payment.

Esqrs . Coroner on Account of
taking Inquisitions

An Account of Inquisitions being produced before this Court by George Grew< no role > Esqr.
out of the Coroners of this County therein mentioning the same to be taken on View of
Dead Bodies in the said County since the first day of July 1755 and chargeable on the
said County pursuant to an Act of Parliament made in the twenty fifth year of the
reign of King George the second which Account begins on the first day of July
aforesaid and ends on the twelfth day of October last therein mentioning the
dead Bodies viewed to be twenty five in Number and that there is due to the
said Coroner the Sum of thirty one pounds and nine shillings for his Coroners
Fee and for the Number of Miles by him travelled on Account of taking
the said Inquisitions And it appearing unto this Court by Writing under the
hands of Bartholomew Hammond< no role > and Francis Bedwell< no role > Esqrs . two of his
Majestys Justices of the Peace for the said County that they had examined
the said Account and that there is due to the said Coroner the aforesaid Sum of
thirty one pounds and nine shillings It is thereupon Ordered by this Court
that Mr. John Higgs< no role > Treasurer of this County do pay the said Sum of thirty
one pounds and nine shillings unto the said Coroner in full of his said Demand
whose Receipt together with this Order shall be a sufficient Discharge to
the said Treasurer for such payment.
