thereof And as to Fees which have been taken by the Keeper
of the House of Correction he having not any Yearly or other
Salary allowd him for his Troubles or for the Support of
himself or Servants to take Care of the Prisoners and
prevent their Escapes It is referred to the said Committee
to inquire how the Keepers of the Prisons in London
are satisfyed for their Trouble and Expence to take
Care of their Prisoners and prevent their Escapes to
the Intent it may be considered what reasonable
Compensation may be proper to be allowed to the
Keeper of the House of Correction at Clerkenwell for
his Trouble and Expences in and about the Premisses
and how to be raised And the said Committee are
desired to make their Report touching the Matters
aforesaid to the Court on the County Day of the next
General Quarter Sessions of this County And let the
Cryer or his Deputy Give Notice of the aforesaid
Meeting to the abovenamed Jusitces of the Peace

By adjornment on Thursday the 14th. Day of May 1752 .

Order for appointing the
County day of Sessions the
times of the Meetings of his
Majestys Justices of the
Peace for granting
Licences in the Tower
Division.}

It is Ordered by this Court that on the County day of the next
General Quarter Session of the Peace to be holden for the County
of Middx (to wit) Thursday the twenty fifth day of June next
Some convenient time and Place be appointed for the Meeting of
his Majestys Justices of the Peace residing or acting in the Tower
Division in the Said County for granting of Licences for the Selling
Beer or Ale by Retale, And also that the County day of every
Sessions afterwards be observed as the proper time for appointing
the Meetings of his Majesty< no role > 's Justices of the Peace residing or acting
in the Tower Division for the granting Such Licenses as aforesaid,
And that the Cryer or his Deputy do give timely Notice of Such
respective Meetings to every Justice of the Peace in the Said Division

By adjornment on Thursday the 14th. day of May 1752 before Thomas
Lane, George Cooke< no role > , Philip Dyot< no role > John Dekewer< no role > Esqrs . & others.

Thomas Davis< no role > to be High
Constable in the Place and
Stead of Mr. James Yalden< no role >
within the Hundred of
Edmonton .}

Whereas Luke Budworth< no role > of South Mims in this County Gent . was in
February Sessions last appointed High Constable within the Hundred of
Edmonton in the Said County in the place and Stead of Mr. James Yalden,
but hath not yet taken his Oath of Office, And it appearing to this Court
that the Said Luke Budworth< no role > is not a proper Person to execute the
