By adjornment on Thursday the 8th. Day of September 1748 .

Order appointing a
Committee to inspect
Workmens Dills, and
also in relation to the
Mulberry Garden House
at Clerkenwell .}

It is Ordered by this Court that it be And It is hereby recomended
and referred unto his Majestys Justices of the Peace of this County
herein after named (to wit) Thomas Lane< no role > Luke Robinson< no role >
Henry Norris< no role > Samuel Tyssen< no role > Merry Teshmaker Samuel
Tatem Richard Ricards Henry Broadhead< no role > John Gascoyne< no role >
Philip Dyot< no role > Thomas Moore< no role > Francis Hole< no role > Peter Elers< no role >
William Jones< no role > William Withers< no role > George Errington< no role > Boulton
Mainwaring John Lawton< no role > and Walter Berry< no role > Esqrs . and
Such other Justices of the Peace of this County as Shall think fit
to be present or any three or more of them as a Committee to
meet at Hicks hall on Thursday the twenty Ninth day of September
instant at ten of the Clock in the forenoon to inspect the Bills
of Richard Jupp< no role > Carpenter for repairs and Work by him done
at the House of Correction at Clerkenwell and also at Hicks hall
in St. John Street , And also to inspect the Bills of Joseph
Jackson
< no role > Bricklayer, Richard Bushell< no role > Plaisterer , & Charles
Wainwright
< no role > Smith for Repairs for Repairs & Work by them
respectively done at the Said House of Correction , And to
consider of the Prices therein charged are reasonable and
Such as ought to be allowed, and what is done to each of the
Said Workmen respectively upon his Said Bill, And it
is also referred to the Said Committee to hear what further
Proposals Mrs. Body hath to make relating to the Mulberry
Garden House at Clerkenwell , and for paying the Rent of
the Same and for making good any Contract not performed made by
William Body< no role > her late Husband late Tenant of the Premisses
And the Said Committee are desired to make their Report
touching the Matters aforesaid to the Court of the next
General Quarter Sessions of the Peace for this County.
