Order for Mr. Higgs Trearer
of Middx to pay £15.18s.11d.
to Mr. James Wilder< no role > Clerk
to the Justices appointed to
take Care of the distempered
Cattle.

The Bill of Mr. James Wilder< no role > Clerk to the Justices of the peace
appointed to take care of the distempered Cattle in this
County amount to £39..1s..11d. which was produced before the
Court at the Last Sessions having been referred to the
consideration of a comittee of his Majestys Justices
of the peace who are of opinion that the sum of £3.3s.- ought
to be disallowed to the Said James Wilder< no role > , So that after a deduction
of that Sum and of the Sum of £20. by him already reced in part
pursuant to an Order of Sessions, there is only remaining due to
him upon his Said Bill the Sum of £15.18s.11d. And he desiring
that this Court will please to Order that the Said Sum may be paid
to him, It is Ordered by this Court that Mr. John Higgs< no role > Trearer
of this County do pay the Said Sum of fifteen Pounds eighteen
Shillings and eleven pence unto the Said James Wilder< no role > in full of
his Said Demand whose Receipt together with this Order Shall be
a Sufficient Discharge to the Said Treasurer for Such payment.

By adjournment on Thursday the 8th. Day of September, 1748.

Order for Justices in their
respective Divisions to hold
& adjourn their Several
Meetings for granting
Licenses to Alehouse keeper
Etc.

It is Ordered by this Court that it be, And It is hereby recomended
unto his Majesty< no role > 's Justices of the Peace residing or acting in the
respective Divisions in this County to hold their General Meetings
for granting Licenses to Alehouse keepers Etc to adjourn the Same
from time to time as often as they Shall think necessary.

By adjournment on Thursday the 8th. Day of September, 1748.

Order for Mr. John Daniel< no role >
the Deputy Cryer to cause
all Persons who Sell Beer
or Ale without License to
be Sumoned & convicted.}

It is Ordered by this Court that Mr. John Daniel< no role > Deputy Cryer of
this Court do cause all Alehouse keeper & Victuallers in this
County who Shall Sell Beer or Ale without License to be Summoned
before one or more of his Majesty< no role > 's Justices of the Peace of this County
in order to their being convicted or Such Offence and that he do
prosecute them until they Shall be Convicted.
