Account of the Treasurer
concerning County Rate
Money & other Matters.}

It is Ordered by this Court that it be, And It is hereby
recomended and referred unto his Majesty< no role > 's Justices of the
Peace of this County herein after named (to wit) Thomas Lane< no role >
Luke Robinson< no role > John Milner< no role > George Cooke< no role > James Clitherow< no role >
Merry Teshmaker< no role > Philip Dyot< no role > William Jones< no role > Samuel
Tatem Richard< no role > Ricards Francis< no role > Hole Peter Elers Henry
Broadhead Thomas< no role > Moore William Withers< no role > George
Errington
< no role > Boulton Mainwaring< no role > John Lawton< no role > and
Walter Berry< no role > Esqrs . and Such other Justices of the Peace
of this County as Shall think fit to be present or any three
or more of them as a Committee to meet at Hicks hall on
Thursday the twelfth Day of January next at ten of the
Clock in the forenoon to inspect and take the Account of
Mr. John Higgs< no role > Treasurer of this County of what Moneys
have been by him received by virtue of the last Rate
(which was made on the twenty Second day of February
1747) for raising of Moneys for the purposes mentioned in
the late Act of Parliament made for the more easy assessing
collecting & levying of County Rates, and of his Disbursements
thereout, and to State and adjust the Said Account, And
also to inspect the Account of the Said Mr. Higgs of what
Moneys have been by him reced for Rents of the Estate
belonging to this County and of his payments out of the Same
and to adjust the Said Account, And It is also referred to
the Said Committee to examine what Moneys is due for
Rent of the Mulberry Garden House at Clerkenwell part
of the Estate belonging to the Said County, and to Summon
before them Mrs. Body Widow of William Body< no role > deced late
Tenant of the Same and to hear what Proposall She hath
to make for payment of the Rent or for making good any
Contract not performed by the Said William Body< no role > , And She
(if She be able) or else her Agent on her behalf is to attend
the Said Committee for that purpose, And It is likewise
referred to the Said Committee to inspect an Account laid
before this Court of the Moneys claymed to be due to the
