King assigned to keep the Peace in the County aforesaid, and also
to hear and determine divers Felonies Trespasses and other
Misdeeds committed in the Same County.

By Adjornment on Thursday the 23d. Day of February 1743 .

His Majesty< no role > 's Justices of the Peace for the County of Middx now
assembled at this present General Session of the Peace holden for the
Said County do Order that the thanks of this Court be and they are
hereby given unto Thomas Lane< no role > Esquire for his great Services
done for the Said County as Chairman of this Court, And the Said
Justices of the Peace now assembled do Elect and continue the Said
Mr. Lane to be Chairman of the General Quarter and General
Sessions of the Peace to be holden for the Said County between
Easter One thousand Seven hundred and forty four and Michas
then next ensueing.
