the County Treasurer to
pay Several Sums of
Money to Mr. Richd. Jupp< no role >
Carpenter & other Workmen
for Repairs done to the
House of Correction at
Clerkenwell Etc.}

Whereas Nathaniel Chandler< no role > , Francis Hole< no role > & John Poulson< no role > Esqrs . being
a Quorum of the Committee of his Majesty< no role > 's Justices of the Peace of this County
named in an Order in Such behalf made bearing [..] ace the [..] ourtee in to [..]
of April 1743 have by their Report in Writing Certifyed unto this Court
that in part name of the Said Order may have viewed the Several Works
in the Said Order Specifyed done at the House of Correction at Clerkenwell
and did find the Same to have been executed according to the Several
Workmens Estimation in a good and Substantial workman like manner
and that the Several Sums of Money herein after Specifyed are due and
owing and ought to be paid to the Several Persons herein after named (Vizt.)

To Thomas Dunn< no role > Mason£10.14s.8d

Making together the Sum of£64.13.1

And the Said Committee further Reported that Charles Wainwright< no role >
Smith produced a Bill for Smith's Work done to the Said House of
Correction which amounts to the Sum of £1.7s.8d. which the Comittee
paid upon Inquiry that the Several Works charged in the Said Bill
were done and ought to be paid by this County This Court being
Satisfyed of the truth of the Matters Specified in the Said Report
Doth Confirm the Same And doth Order that Mr John Higgs< no role >
Sunsurer of this County do pay unto the Said Richard Jupp< no role >
Carpenter Francis Hoggis< no role > Plaisterer , Thomas Dunne Mason
Joseph Jackson< no role > Bricklayer , Michael Kirby< no role > Painter & Thomas
Williams Glasier respectively the Said respective Sums of Money
above certifyed to be and to them as aforesaid andamounting
together to the Said Sum of Sixty four Pounds thirteen Shillings
and one Penny, and also unto the Said Charles Wain< no role > Wright the< no role >
Said Sum of one Pound Seven Shillings and eight Pence reported to
be due to him as aforesaid in full of their respective found in and
about repairing the Said House of Correction and the Keepers
Dwelling House there unto belonging And that the Said respective
Sums to be paid to them by the Said Treasurer as aforesaid be allowed
to him upon his Account.
