At the General Quarter Session of the peace of our Sovereign
Lord the King begun and holden for the County of Middx at
Westminster in the County aforesaid on Monday in the Week next
after theFeastclose of Easter (to wit) the Second day of April in the
Seventeenth Year of the Reign of our Sovereign Lord George
the Second King of Great Britain Etc. Before Thomas Lane< no role > Esqr.

and others their Fellows Justices of our Said Lord the King
assigned to keep the peace in the County aforesaid and also to near
and determine divers Felonies Trespasses and other Misdeeds
committed in the Same County and from thence continued by
Several Adjournments until this day (to wit) Friday the Sixth
day of the Same Month of April in the Year aforesaid and on the
Same day holden by Adjournment at Hicks Hall in St. John Street
in and for the Same County before the above named Justices and
others their Fellows aforesaid,

County Rate

Whereas a presentment was made by the Grand Jury for the
County of Middx unto the Court of General Quarter Sessions of the
peace holden at Hicks Hall in St. John Street in and for the Said
County by Adjournment on this Sixth day of April in the Seventeenth
Year of his present Majesty's Reign That Such part of a certain
publick Bridge called Chertsea Bridge as is in the Same County
(which part of the Same Bridge hath been heretofore usually
rebuilt repaired and maintained at the Charge of the Inhabitants of
the Same County) is very much out of repair And that it is necessary
that the aforesaid part of the Same Bridge Should be forthwith repaired
or new built And it appearing to this Court that the Said Bridge
called Chertsea Bridge is very much out of repair and must be forthwith
repaired at the Costs and Charges of the Inhabitants of this County, And
upon reading the Said Presentment And it also appearing to
this Court that three fourths of the Money of the last Rate made
in June Sessions last had been paid and expended to answer the
Ends and purposes mentioned in an Act of Parliament made
in the twelfth Year of his Said Majesty's Reign Intituled an
Act for the more easy Assessing Collecting and Levying of
