Keeper of the House
of Corr at Clerkenwell
for passing & relieving
Vagrants & Vagabonds.}

It appearing to this Court by Certificate under the hands
of Francis Hole< no role > and Thomas Moore< no role > Esquires two of his Majesty's
Justices of the Peace for this County being of the Committee for
Stating and adjusting the publick Accounts of the Said County
That they have perused the Account of Mr. Henry Wallbanck< no role >
Keeper of the House of Correction at Clerkenwell in the Said
County [..] eucing the Seventh Day of December 1743 and
ending the twelfth Day of January instant, and that they have
examined the Same with the Vouchers, and find that the Sum of
eighteen Pounds and eight Shillings is due unto the Said Henry
Wallbanck upon the Said Account for the passing & relieving of
Vagrants & Vagabonds untill the Said twelfth Day of January
instant, And the Said Henry Wallbanck< no role > praying that this Court
will please to Order that the Said Sum may be paid to him It is
Ordered by this Court that Mr. John Higgs< no role > Treasurer of this
County do pay the Said Sum of eighteen Pounds and eight
Shillings unto the Said Henry Wallbanck< no role > in full of the Moneys due
to him upon the Said Account And that the Said Sum be allowed
to the Said Treasurer upon his Account.

By Adjornment on Friday the thirteenth Day of

high Constable of
Ux bridge Division in
the place & Stead of
Mr. Richard Peel.}

Whereas Richard Peel< no role > Gent . hath exhibited his humble
Petition unto this Court Setting forth that he hath Served the Office
of High Constable in the Hundred of Elthorne for Uxbridge Division
in this County for the Space of three Years and upwards and hath
Settled and adjusted his Accounts with Mr. John Higgs< no role > Treasurer
of the Said County, And the Said Richard Peel< no role > praying that this
Court will please to discharge him from his Said Office of high
Constable This Court being Satisfied of the Truth of the Premisses
Doth appoint Bernard Hannington< no role > of Uxbridge within the
Division and County aforesaid Gent . to the high Constable within
the Said Hundred of Elthorne for Uxbridge Division aforesaid in the
place and Stead of the Said Richard Peel< no role > And this Court Doth
Order that the Said Bernard Hannington< no role > do forthwith (after
Notice of this Order) attend George Cooke< no role > , Thomas Blencowe< no role >
and Christopher Tower< no role > Esquires Justices of the Peace of this
County
