Salary is to be paid to him quarterly as the Court of General or
Quarter Sessions of the peace for this County Shall in that behalf
Order and Direct.

By Adjornmt. on Thursday 29th. day of August 1734

Order for the Clerk of the
peace of Middx to deliver a
copy of a Report & Order of
Quarter Sessions touching
the account of Throphy
money Etc to the Deputy
Lieutenants or their Clerk}

It is Ordered by this Court that the Clerk of the peace of this County doe
deliver unto the Deputy Lieutenants of the Said County or their Clerk
a copy of a Report made to the Court of General Quarter Sessions of the
peace holden for the Same County in January 1731 by a Committee
of his Maties Justices of the peace for this Countyconcerning
concerning the Account of Trophy money raised levyed or
collected in the Said County and of the disbursements out of the
Same, and also a copy of the Order of Court made thereupon at the
Same Sessions, the Said Deputy Lieutenants or their Clerk
paying for the aforesaid copys.

carry on the prosecution
upon the Indictmt. agt.
Moses Peters< no role > in the Court
of Kings Bench, for
extortion, And that he be
paid the costs of the Said
prosecution out of the
publick money Etc}

Whereas an Indictment was preferred and found at the Sessions
of Oyer & Terminer holden for the County of Middx in January
1732 against one Moses Peters< no role > for extortion in unlawfully
extorting & receiving the Sum of four Shillings from one Thomas
Woodford at the parish of St. Mary Whitechappell in the Said County,
which Indictment hath been Since removed into his Maties Court
of Kings Bench by vertue of a writt of Certiorari obtained by the
Said Moses Peters and is yet undetermined, It is Ordered by this
Court that Mr. John Higgs< no role > Attorney at Law be and he is hereby
authorized and directed to carry on the prosecution against the
Said Moses Peters upon the Said Indictmt. untill the Same Shall be
determined in due form of Law, And that the Said Mr. Higgs be
paid the costs of the Said prosecution out of the publick money of
this County.

Order for takeing a View
of Hicks Hall , and to See if
any and what repairs are
wanting & necessary to
be done thereto, and how
the Said Hall may be
made more commodious
& warm for the winter
half yeare Etc}

Whereas by an Order (reciting as therein is recited) made in June
Sessions 1733 upon reading the humble petition of Thomas Bromley< no role >
Housekeeper of Hicks Hall and Cryer of the General Quarter and
General Sessions of the peace for this County whereby he prayed
that the Court would Order the Sessions house called Hicks Hall to
be repaired in Such manner as to the Court Should Seem meet
that the Petr. may keep the Same in repaire for & dureing Such
time as he Shall continue in his Said Office, And that the Court
would Order the Petr. to berepairedrepaid what money he
had expended & laid out for cleaning & amending the windows
and doeing Several things necessary about the Said House,
And to Order new Umbrellas if the Court should think fit, It
was recomended & referred unto Nathaniel Blacker< no role > by
Richard Brown< no role > Nicholas Jeffreys< no role > Thomas Pindar< no role > Simon
