noe just ground of complaint against the said Mr. Weedon or
any other Justice of the peace this County residing in
Uxbridge Division in relacon to the premisses, And doth
thereupon dismiss the said complaint, and the Same is hereby
dismissed accordingly, And for As much as this Court is credibly
informed that (not with standing the former & Resolucon and
opinion of the Court of Sessions that the patent granted of the
Office of Clerk of the Said market doth not extend any further
than to the & Kings palace and the precincts thereof comonly
called the Little Virge) Yet the Deputys and Agents of the Said
Clerk of the market doe exact Sumes of money of & Tradesmen
and others in this County under pretence of weighing of
weights and measureing of their quarts, pints and other
measures, and that such proceeding is illegall and very
oppressive, It is ordered by this Court that It be And It is hereby
recomended and referred unto John milner< no role > This name instance is in set 4214. Esqr . the Honble.

more of them as a Committee to assemble and meet together at Such
times and placed as they Shall in that behalfe appoint, And to
inquire into the proceedings of the Said Clerk of the Market
and of his Deputys or agents in relacon to any Sume or
Sums of money by him them or any of them unlawfully
received of any person or persons under colour of his said
office, And to certify an account in writing of their proceedings
touching the premisses unto the Court of Generall Quarter or
Generall Sessions of the peace for this County, as also to Consider
of the most proper and effectuall Methods to prevent and putt
an end to the oppressions of his Majesties Subjects dwelling
within this County under Colour of the Said Patent And to
report their opinions to this Court thereupon.
