and Agree to Suspend as to that Election for the said
Division only, the said order of the fifteenth day of
January 1718 And that the said John Jones< no role > then present
high Constable of the said Division (who had Served
the said Office for the space of three Years) should
be continued therein untill the next Easter Quarter
Sessions, And that it should be soe proposed to this
Court on the County Day in this present Generall
Quarter Sessions of the Peace holden for this County
to the intent that an Order of Confirmation might
be now made for that purpose if this Court should
think fit to make the same This Court taking the
Premises aforesaid into Consideracon on this present
Thursday the first day of July instant (being the
County Day of this present Generall Quarter Sessions)
Doth Confirm the said Resolucon and agreement
of the Court at the last Sessions And doth then
upon Order That the said John Jones< no role > present
high Constable of the said Division be confirmed in
his said Office untill the next Easter Quarter Sessions.

a View of New
Prison Etc.}

Upon reading the humble Petition of Joshua Walker< no role >
Keeper of his Maties. Goal called New prison at Clerken-
well in this County Exhibited unto this Court Setting
forth that the said Goal of new Prison is very
much out of repair, And that the Petr. is dayly in
Great Danger of the Escape of some of his Prisoners
was whereof not long Since broke out in the day time by
Clambering over the Door Case, And the Petr. humbly
hopes this Court will be pleased to Order the said
Door Case to be pulled down, and to give such further
directions towards repairing the said Goal as to this
Court Shall seem meet, to prevent the escape of any
of his Prisoners whereupon it is Ordered by this Court
that it be, And it is hereby recomended and referral unto
