General or Quarter Sessions of the peace for the said County shall
direct for repairing New prison aforesaid and the dwelling house
buildings and appurtenances thereto belonging untill the same
shall be effectually repaired in such manner as the said Court
shall approve off According to the intent and meaning of an Order
made at the General Quarter Sessions of the peace holden for the
said County by adjornment on the fifth day of July in the eighth
Year of the Reign of his present maty King George, And in case
the said Court shall Order and direct the said Sume of thirty
pounds P Anum to be paid to any other person or persons That
then he the said Joshua Walker< no role > do and shall from time to time
well and truly pay the same unto such person or persons and in
such manner as shall be so Ordered and directed, And that he
the said Joshua Walker< no role > so long as he shall continue Keeper of
the said prison shall at his own proper costs and charges do all
such further repaires as shall be necessary to be done to the said
prison and Dwelling house buildings and appurtenances
thereunto belonging over and above what shall be done by his
payment of the said Sume of twenty pounds P Anum to the said
Clerk of the peace or his Deputy for the purpose aforesaid, And
that he the said Joshua Walker< no role > his Executors or Administrators
do and shall well and truly pay or cause to be paid unto the
Sherriffe of the said County for the time being or his Order for the
use of his now Maty. King George his Levis and Sucessors all such
Sume and Sumes of Mony as have been or shall be imposed and
set for any fine or fines by any of the Justices of the peace for the
said County assembled at any of their General or General
Quarter Sessions of the peace held within the said County on
any prisoner or prisoners comitted or to be comitted to the Custody
of the said Joshua Walker< no role > as Keeper of the said prison for any
Offence or Offences by them comitted and which shall or
without his or their wilful default may at any time or times
be received by him or his Servant or Servants dureing such time
as the said Joshua Walker< no role > shall continue Keeper of the said
prison, And do and shall likewise well and truly accompt will
and pay unto the Clerke of the peace of the said County for
the time being or his Deputy all such Fees as the said Joshua
Walker or his respective Servant or Servants shall or without
his or their wilful default may dureing the time he shall
continue Keeper of the said prison receive for the use of such
Clerke of the peace of any prisoner or prisoners comitted or to be
comitted to the said prison, And that whenever the said
Joshua Walker< no role > shall be displaced removed or discharged
from the said Office or employment of Keeper of the said
prison by the Justices of the peace of the said County or the
Major part of them, That then the said Joshua Walker< no role > ,
shall forthwith peaceably deliver up and quit the possession
of the said prison and the dwelling house and buildings
