Constable of
Holborne Division,

Whereas by Order made at the Generall Quarter Sessions
of the Peace holden for this County by adjornment on
Thursday the Fifteenth day of January One thousand
Seven hundred and Eighteen It was Ordered that noe
High Constable in this County should thereafter
Continue in his Office of high Constable above the
Space of Three Yeares, And Whereas the Justices
of the Peace of this County residing within Holborne
Division in the said County have this day
Unanimously requested and desired that Mr.
Thomas Jones< no role > the present high Constable of the
said Division (who hath already served the
Office of high Constable for three Yeares) may be
Continued in the said Office for Three yeares longer
notwithstanding the above recited Order of the
Fifteenth day of January One thousand seven
hundred and eighteen, This Court is pleased out
of their regard to the request of the said Justices
to suspend, as to this Election for the said Division
only, the said Order of the Fifteenth day of January
One thousand seven Hundred and Eighteen,
And doth Order that the said Thomas Jones< no role >
present high Constable of the said Division
(who hath Served the said Office for the space
of Three Yeares last past) be continued
therein for the further Terme of Three Yeares
now next Ensueing, Notwithstanding any
Order made by the Generall or Quarter
Sessions of the Peace of this County to the
Contrary,
