maketh Oath That he this Deponent did on Thursday last
leave for the said George Crossley< no role >
at His House in the Adelphi
with One
of his Clerks there a Notice in Writing in this Cause purporting that
the Defendants Stephen Stephens< no role >
Williams Priddle and Robert Holloway< no role >
Counter manded the Notice given to the said George Crossley< no role >
on Saturday
the Sixth Instant for the Trial of the said Indictment as on this Day
and that the Court of Oyer and Terminer of Our Lord the King then
holden for the City of London
at Justices Hall in the Old Bailey
would be moved on this Day at the Sitting of the Court or as soon
after as Counsel could be heard that the Trial of the said
Defendants Stephen Stephens< no role >

and Robert Holloway< no role >
upon the said Indictment might stand over untill the next
February Sessions by reason of the Absence of a Material Witness
and that the Recognizances entered into by the said Stephen Stephens< no role >

and their Bail for their
appearance and trying the Traverse on the said Indictment at the
present Sessions might be respited in the meantime
