For a Conspiracy
On the Prosecution of George Crossley< no role >

William Genst of Rowley Regis in the County of Staford Gentleman
maketh Oath that on or about the first or second Day of January Instant
this Deponent Received a With of Subpose Issuing out of his Majesties
Court of Slings Bench directed to James Mason< no role > and there therein named
requiring them to appear at the present Sessions for London said give
Evidence on the part of the above named Defendants at the Trial of the
said Indictment and was desired by the said Stephen Stephen William
Criddle and Robert Holloway< no role > to get the same served on the said James
Mason (who is a Butcher and Lises at Rowley Regis aforesaid) which
this Deponent and [..] to do and sent the said Wait the same day
by the General post to Mr. Joseph Moss< no role > of Dudley in the County of
Worcester Surgeon one of this Deponents Clients inclosed in a Letter
requesting him to send for and employ Richard Windson< no role > of Rowley Regis
aforesaid a person conversant in such business to serve the said James
Mason with a Copy of the said Subpeena And this Deponent further saith
that on Wednesday the tenth Instant this Deponent received a Letter
by the General post from the said Richard Windsor< no role > in forming this
Deponent that Mr. Moss had on the preceding Friday Morning given
him the said Writ of Subpeena with a Copy to serve on the said James
Mason and that he went the same day to serve it but that he was
gone several Days before to Curlisle (meaning us this Deponent
believes Carlisle< no role > in the County of Cumberland ) to purchase Scotch
Beast and that the was not expected home before Candlemas next
so that it would be impossible to get him up to London by the time
mentioned in the said Subpeena And that if it would do (when
the said James Mason< no role > returned to Rowley) And this Deponent
would send him another Subpeena that he the said Richard
Windson would serve the same on to that effect And this
Deponent
