got up from the Ground and this Deponent and Deced
went down Stairs into the Street and when Deced came
down Stairs Deponentshesaw the Blood came from her head
in a large Quantity and Deponent desired her to come in
to the house but she refusedandas her son was still
fighting That Deponent seeing Deced blood very
much immediately went to Mr Farmer a Surgeon and
returned with his Assistant and then found Deced
sitting in a Chair in her own Room that Deced sat
up about Two Hours and then went to Bed and on the
next Morning Deced got up and went with Elizabeth
Griffith to Church but being very ill returned home soon
and told Deponent she was very bad and thought she could
not hold it long and said she believed that Williams had
done for her but did not mention who it was but Depont.
understood she meant said Chas. Griffith< no role > That on the
Monday last the Deced desired this Deponent to go to
Guildhall and get a Warrant against sd. Chas. Griffith &
Morgan for assaulting her and Deponenttold her that
said she could not tell who had given her the Blow to
which the Deced replied "but I can, that Griffiths gave
"me the Blow; and a fatal one it is" That Deponent
went several times but on Account of the Quantity of
Business at Guildhall could not procure [..] a Warrant That
when Deponentdecedcame back on Tuesday last without the
Warrant deced seemed very uneasy and said she was
afarid that William would go unpunished but mentioned
no Name and Deponent staid with Deced till about
3 o'Clock on Wednesday Morning & diveing the time Deponent
staid with her she frequently Exclaimed "O, what
"a villain" That between 9 and 10 o'Clock on
