this Deponent if his Wife had lodged with her since the
Tenth of October to which Deponent answered Yes That
soon after the Son of the said Charles Griffiths< no role > came up into
this Deponts. Room and the said Charles Griffiths< no role > & his Sontheybegan to dispute together
and the said Charles Griffiths< no role > beat his said Son with
a Poker That this Deponent got between them and prevent
the said Charles Griffiths< no role > from beating his Son sho then went
down Stairs And then the said Charles Griffiths< no role > and one

Morgan who had came up into this Deponents Room
with him both followed the said Chas Griffiths< no role > 's Son down
Stair's and went into the Deceased's Room and this
Deponent then went into Deceaseds Room and found the
said Charles Griffiths< no role > andMorgan and Deceased together
and the said Charles Griffiths< no role > used very bad Language towards
the Deceased and threatened to throw her behind the fire
and the said Charles Griffiths< no role > broke a Table and some Claine
belonging to the deceased That presently afterwards Samuel
Lee the Son of the Deceased Came up into his Mothers
Room and Struck Griffiths< no role > with his first and knocked him down and
sd. Morgan then struck Samuel Lee< no role > and they all
fought together for about Ten Minutes and in the
Scuffle some of them got the Deceaseds poker and
Deceased and Deponent got among them in order to part
them and Deponent hearing some body fall turned round
and saw Deceased laying on the Ground and Deceased
immediately called out a Save my Child, save my Child
(meaning the said Samuel Lee< no role > That the said Charles
Griffiths and Morgan continued fighting with the sd. Samuel
Lee and the endeavoured to throw him down Stairs and
they all went down the Stairs fighting leaving this Deponent
and the Deceased in the Room That the Deceased
