maketh Oath and Saith that he was by
Summons required to attend this Honourable Court on the twelfth day
of December last to serve as a Juror and that on the said twelfth day
of December he duly attended at the Guildhall

for that purpose
from the Hour of Ten until half past Eleven in the Morning of the
same day during, which time a Jury were swam in and his Name
not being, called he concluded he need and stay any longer and went
away but this Deponent is informed and believes that a Travers Jury
were afterwards called and Sworn in a and he not appearing when
called was (as this Deponent further saith that his not attending
at the time the Traverse Jury were called and Sworn in as aforesaid
was not from any Wilful Neglect or intention of Neglecting his Duly
but happened entirely through mistake as before mentioned, and
from his not knowing or ever Suspecting that a Traverse Jury
(having never Served on one) or any other Jury wanted except
the one that were Sworn in whilst he remained in Court.
