Gentleman Says that Dring took five bad Shillings, out of
the Paper which he had received from Roake, and gave to this
Informant for which he paid him three shillings and six
Pence, and Dring returned him three Pence says that his
understood this [..] Purchase to be according to the Agreement
before made of thirty Shillings for twenty Says that Dring
told him Roake would follow with the rest says that he never
intended corruptly to purchase the said five Pieces of bad Money
but only bought them for the Purpose of bringing him to Justice
Says that the five Piece now produced are the same which
he purchased of the Prisoner Dring

And the said John Newman< no role > for himself
saith that he was waiting by Appointment at the White Horn
at Cripplegates says that the Prisoner Dring came in with
the Informant Lewis Abrahams< no role > Says that he searched During
and found the ten bad Shillings now produced in his Hand that he had three
shillings and six pence in good Silver in his Pocket says that
he searched the Informant Lewis Abrahams< no role > and found the
five shillings bad Money, now produced, in his Pocket says
that in about ten Minutes after, the other Prisoner Roake, together
with one Kerwick, came to the Door, that as soon as they saw
him, this Informant, they went out says that he followed and
brought them back that he searched and found thirty bad
shillings from the his right Hand Waitcoat Pocket, of Roake five bad shillings
from the other Waistcoat Pocket, and two from his Breeches Pocket
says that the counterfict Money now produced are the same
which he took from the Prisoner Roake says that he searched
Kerwick, but found nothing upon him.

And the said William Sargesson< no role > for himself
saith, that he took from the Waistband of the Breeches of the Prisoner
Roake thirty bad Shillings, the same as now produced, in a
brown Paper says that he saw the other Prisoner Dring, searched
and the several sums of bad Money here produced, as described
by the Informant John Newman< no role > , taken from him says
he also saw the five shillings now produced taken from the
Informant Lewis Abrahams< no role > .
