George Pettet< no role >
for a Felony

George Pettet< no role > of Chenkford in the County of Essex
farmer the Prosecutor above named Maketh oath
and saith that he this Deponent not having Consulted
any Attorney was ignorant and did not receive any
instructions or directors from the Committing
Majestrate, the Constable nor from any other person
whomsoever that it was necessary for or incumbent
upon him this Deponent to attend and prefer a Ball of
Indictment at this present Sessions, And that he this Deponent
did on the morning of this present fifth day of September
receive a verbal Massage from Mr. Nixon of
Prujean square in the Old Bailey that he ought to come
to Four this day about this business in consequence
whereof he hath to done And this Deponent doth humbly
Submit himself to the mercy of this Honorable Court and
prays that his Recognizance may be respited until next
Sessons And this Deponent further saith that he was
robbed by the prisoner of a Inform Bank note seven Guineas
and there Guineas in Gold and further humbly prays
the Prisoner may be detained until next Sessions
