The joint and several Informations of Lewis Abraham< no role >
of Marlbrough Court Winford Street , Petition Lane in the County
of Middlesex Dealer in Old Cloaths John Newman< no role > of Crade Court Red Cross street in the
City of London , Cordwainer and William Sargesson< no role > of Grub street
in the said City, Chandler , taken before me, William (Richett< no role > Esquire
one of His Majesty's Justices of the Peace in and for the said City
Who being upon Oath severally say, And First the said Lewis
Abraham for himself saith that yesterday about eleven o'Clock in
the Morning he met the Prisoner new under Examination, samuel
Dring by Appointment at a public House, opposite Row Church in
Cheapside in Consequence of some Conversation which passed with respect
to buying some bad Silver of him that Dring said to had not
brought the Silver there but said he must go to another House and
he would get him some says that they went together to Beach
Lane and the Prisoner Dring went into a Bakers Shop there, and he
went to a public House opposite Says that Dring cames over to
him and told him they were not quite ready Says that take other
Prisoner Michael Roake< no role > came to them, and said they were not
quite ready, told him he must wait then Quarters of an Hour
longer says be began to be impatient with waiting lord Dring
told him if Roake did not return in ten Minutes, he would go to
Cloth Fair where they could do their Business as well says that
about three o'Clock the Prisoner Roake came in and said they were
not quite ready yet, that in about ten Minutes returned and,
said "I am ready for you now" says that Roake paid the
Reckening, and they all three went out together says that he left
them at the Red Cross in Beech Lane , while he went to tell the
Constables not to be impatient says that he returned and found
both the Prisoners where he left them at the Door of the his proofs in Red Cross street
says that he then told Dring to go along with him; that Dring
thereupon wanted to get the Money from Roake, which he
refused to [..] give him Dring then said "Let me have half a Piece"
Roake then delivered to Dring a Paper, which he said was half
a Piece says that he told Dring he was going to the White
Horse in Cripplegate , where was a Gentleman who would purchase
the whole says that Dring told Roake where he was going
says they went together, and by the Way, this Informant asked
him to purchase as much as he had Money for, to shew the
