London and Liberties thereof, one being of the Quorum, by
the Church-Wardens and Overseers of the Poor of the said
Parish of Saint Sepulchre
in the said City of
London, That

the Illegitimate Son of
Ann Kempton< no role >
who hath devised him aged two Years
had
lately come to reside in their said Parish, not having obtained
any legal Settlement there, and was likely to become charge-
able thereto, unless timely prevented, which Complaint We
the said Justices, upon due Proof made thereof as well upon
the Oath of the said Ann as otherwise
adjudge to be true; and we do also adjudge the last legal
Settlement of the said

to be in the said Parish of Saint Leonard Shereditch in
the said County of Middlesex
and that thitherto he ought by Law to be sent.

quire you the Church-Wardens and Overseers of the Poor
of the said Parish of Saint Sepulchre
London, forthwith to remove and convey the said John William< no role >
from and out of your said Parish, unto the said Parish of
Saint Leonard Shoredith
And him deliver unto the Church-Wardens and Overseers
of the Poor there, or to some or one of them, together with
this our Order, who is and are hereby required to receive
and provide for him according to Law. Given under our
Hands and Seals, this 24th. Day of April One Thousand
Seven Hundred and Eighty one
