Informant Eleanor Freer< no role >
saith that between Eleven and twelve
O'Clock Yesterday Morning she heard the Dog in ye Shop Bark upon wch
she went out of the back Room into the Shop and observed [..] there
was a Piece of Cloth missing upon which she went to the Street
Door and saw the Prisoner Joseph [..] ime otherwise Payne uming away with the
Piece of Cloth now produced under his Arm That she pursued tenn to
Princes Street
and Cried out stop Thief upon which the Prisoner
dropped the Cloth and went off that [..] she pitked it up and went
home and soon after the Prisoner was brought into the House by
the other Informant who Saith that being in Barbrance Yesterday
Morning he saw the Prisoner come out of the Ship of the Informant
freer with a Piece of Cloth under his Arm and upon her crying out
stop Thief he Pursued the Prisoner and apprehended him in [..] lver Street
that the Prisoner was not out of his sight from the time of his coming
out of the Shop till he was taken
