Good of No 47 Bishop gate street within London
Linen Draper Taken this 19th November 1781
Saith that coming home yesterday Evening as half past five
o Clock he observed through the Glass as the Top of the Back Door
of his said Masters House that there were three Men in the
shop which he was unabled to a by the light of a Landle they
had with them and upon his tapping at the Door with his Hand
the said three Men went instanly from the back past of the shop
towards the Front Door leading into Bishop gate Street whereupon
Informant can round the House apprehended the Prisoner

as the came out of the Shop into Bishop Gate Street
aforesaid that a Bay containing Ten pieces of Irsh Liner was
dropt by the Prisoner and one other of the said Men whom Informant
saw in the Shop upon the Door Stopupon the Doorupon his taking
hold of the Prisoner whom they endeavoured to require but on
Informants alarming the Neighbourhood the said two other Men
immediately went of and made then escape that the said
ten pieces of Jrish Liner dropt by the Prisoner in manner
aforesaid and now produced are the property of the said John
Good and were severally taken out a Chest then in the
shop of his said Matter
