The Information of Thomas Fores< no role > taken upon Oath
before me William Blackborow< no role > Esqr . One of His
Majesty's Justices of the Peace in and for the said
County this 20th day of June 1781 .

This Informant upon his Oath saith that on Sar [..]
Night the Tenth day of June Inst. at about a quarter bef [..]
Ten of the Clock as he was walking across Smith field in the
City of London a person who calls himself by the Name of
Benjamin Filter< no role > walked before him and hindered him from
Walking on and Immediately snatched at his Watch as the
Chain hung out of his job and this Informant peet his hand
to his fob and frevented him from pulling his Watch out
and Immediately some person came behind this Informant
and Struck and Wounded him on the Head and one of her fingers and then Left him
as he believes for he did not see them afterwards
