his being stopt as aforesaid

The said Thomas Speed< no role > saith that the Box, Basket
and Bottle now produced are [..] the property of himself
and Richard Speed< no role > his Partner and that the said other Informant
Phillip Phillips< no role > was sent with them in named aforesaid

The said Informant John Hodges< no role > saith that
going along New Gate Street about Eight oClock last
Night he heard the cry of Stop Thief and the Prisoner running
by him he stopped him [..] whereupon the prisoner
say'd he was not the Man but Informant insicted to defain
him until the said other Informant [..] Phillip Phillips came up
rate then declared that the Prisoner was the Person Who had
taken his Parcel in Manner aforesaid
