To the Right Honourable the Lord Mayor of the
City of London the Recorder and other his Majestys
Justices of the Peace for the said City at their General
Quarter Session of the Peace Assembled

The Humble Petition of the Churchwardens and
Overseers of the poor of the Parish of Saint James
Clerkenwell in the County of Middlesex

Sheweth


That by virtue of a Pass Warrant or Order of
removal under the Hands and Seals of Sir Thomas Hallifax< no role >
Knight the Lord Mayor of the said City and Frederick Bull< no role >
Esquire two of his Majestys Justices of the Peace for the said City
and Liberties thereof (one of them being of the Quorum) bearing
Date on the Ninth day of September last past William Urton< no role >
Ann< no role > his Wife and Thomas< no role > their Son Aged Eight Years
and upwards were removed from the Parish of Saint
Bennett Fink in the said City to the said Parish of Saint
James Clerkenwell

That your Petitioners conceive themselves to be aggrieved
by the said Order of the said two Justices and therefore
humbly Appeal to this Honourable Court against the same

And Pray this Honourable Court will
please to appoint a Day for the hearing
and determining the said Appeal and to
make such Order therein as shall be just

And your Petitioners shall ever
pray Etc.
