Church-Wardens and Overseers of the Poor
of the Parish of Saint James at Clerkenwell
in the County of Middlesex .

WHEREAS Complaint hath been made unto Us, two
of his Majesty's Justices of the Peace for the City of
London and Liberties thereof, one being of the Quorum, by
the Church-Wardens and Overseers of the Poor of the said
Parish of Saint Bennet fink in the City of
London, That William Urton< no role > Ann< no role > his Wife
and Thomas< no role > their Son Aged Eight Years and
Upwards are
lately come to reside in their said Parish, not having obtained
any legal Settlement there, and are likely to become charge-
able thereto, unless timely prevented, which Complaint We
the said Justices, upon due Proof made thereof as well upon
the Oath of the said William Urton< no role > as otherwise do
adjudge to be true; and we do also adjudge the last legal
Settlement of the said William Urton< no role >
to be in the said Parish of Saint James at Clerkenwell
in the County of Middlesex
and that thither to they ought by Law to be sent.

These are therefore in His Majesty's Name to will and re-
quire you the Church-Wardens and Overseers of the Poor
of the Parish of Saint Bennetfink in the City of
London, forthwith to remove and convey the said William Urton< no role >
Ann< no role > his Wife and Thomas< no role > their Son
from and out of your said Parish, unto the said Parish of Saint
James at Clerkenwell in the County of Middlesex
And them deliver unto the Church-Wardens and Overseers
of the Poor there, or to some or one of them, together with
this our Order, who is and are hereby required to receive
and provide for them according to Law. Given under our
Hands and Seals, this 9th Day of Sepr. One Thousand
Seven Hundred and Seventy Seven .
