The Humble Petition and appeal of
the Church Wardens Over Seers of the Poor

The Parish of Saint Dunstan Stephney otherwise

Sheweth

That by virtue of a Pass Warrant or Order under
the Hands and Selas of the Right Honourable Sir
James Esdaile< no role > Knight Lord Mayor of the City of
London and Tho Wright< no role > Esqr . one of the alderman of
the said city bearing Data the Twenty Second Day of
January One Thousand Seven Hundred and Seventy
Eight Dorothy Thompson< no role > aged Seven years and upwards
and Charlotte Thompson< no role > aged five years and upwards
the two Daughters of Joseph Thompson< no role > who hath ordered
them by Elizabeth< no role > his wife of deceased were removed and
conveyed from and out of the Parish of Saint Stephen
without Aldersgate London to the Said Hamlet of peace
End New Town as the place of the last legal Settlement
of the said Dorothy Thompson< no role > and Charlotte Thompson< no role >

That Your Petitioner's is conceive themselves
aggrieved by the said adjudication of the said
Two Justices and the said order, and therefore humbly appeal to
this Court against the same and humbly [..]
That this Honorable bourn will be pleaced to appeal
seventh Day of the Present Session for the hearing
and Determination of the said appeal and to who
that the Church Wardens and the Over Seer of the Poor
of the Parish of Saint Boloph with in the
and also present concerned to them said the Court
