kept to hard Labour for the Term of Five Years in raising
Sand Soil and Gravel from and cleansing the River Thames
and other service for the Benefit of the Navigation of the
said River under the Management and Direction of the
overseer or overseers appointed in pursuance of an Act of
Parliament passed in the 16th year of His Majestys King,
on titled an Act to authorize for a limited time the
Punishment by hard Labour of offenders who for certain
Crimes are or shall become liable to be transported to any of
His Majesty Colonies & Plantations and that the said
Elizabeth Hart< no role > be kept to hard Labour in Bridewell for the
Term of Three years in pursuance of the aforesaid act
His Majesty has thereupon been graciously pleased [..] the

commanded me to singify the same to you that you do saith with
give the necessary Orders for putting the same in the Examination
pursuance of the Act of Parliament in that behalf
