The voluntary Information and Confession of Joseph Harrison< no role >
taken on Oath before John Staples< no role > William Quarrill< no role > [..]
[..] of His Majestys Justices of the Peace in and for the said County
of Middlesex this 19th. day of June in the year of our
Lord 1777

Who upon his Oath saith that in the night of Saturday the seventh
day of June instant about one in the morning he this Informant
together with one Thomas Bright< no role > John Stewart< no role > and Edward
Anderson
< no role > went to the House of Thomas Williams< no role > in the High
Street White Chapel Mercer and with an Iron cros wrenched
and forced open the Cellar Window under the dwelling House of
the said Thomas Williams< no role > and after they had so done they pulled
wit or fastned the said Collar Window again by putting a piece
of Paper between the same and shop and then he this Informant the
said Thomas Bright< no role > John Stewart< no role > and Edward Anderson< no role > went
away Saith that in the Night of Thursday the the twelfth
day of June instant he this Informant the said Thomas Bright< no role >
John Stewart< no role > and the said Edward Anderson< no role > came again to the
House of the said Thomas Williams< no role > , and pushed or pulled open the said
Cellar Window (which remained in the same state as they left
it in the night of Saturday above mentioned) and then he this
Informant the said Thomas Bright< no role > John Stewart< no role > and Edward
Anderson went into the said Cellar and from thence by means
of a Trap Door they all got up and went into the shop of
the said Thomas Williams and after staying there some time
examining the goods therein they put into a Bag Handkerchiefs
several pieces of Silk about twenty eight scarlet Cloth Cloaks
several pieces of Lace and five or Six pieces of Linen, and whom
they had so donetheyHe this Informant went and in Locked
