Who being upon Oath say and first the said George Corfield< no role >
says
that on Monday the 20th. of December Instant a Bank Note of the
value of two hundred pounds now produced was feloniously
taken and carried away out of his house in Cursiter Street, and
the said John Grey< no role >
for himself says that he is Clerk
to Messrs.
Drummonds Bankers at Charing Cross
, that the said two hundred
pounds Bank Note was changed at their Shop for a person now
present who calls herself Elizabeth Johnson< no role >
on Tuesday the
21st. of December Instant the said Elizabeth Johnson< no role >
bringing
with her a message in Writing from Mr. James Puddifant< no role >

desiring them to change the
said Note or Words to that Effect, and the said Elizabeth
Johnson for herself says that on Tuesday the 21st. of December
she carried a Bank Note of two hundred pounds together with
a Message in Writing from the said Mr. Puddifant to Messrs.
Drummonds aforementioned that she there saw a person now
present who calls himself John Grey< no role >
that she then and there
received Charge for the said Bank Note of two hundred pounds
that she received that very Bank Note of two hundred pounds
from a person now present who calls himself Dennis
