The Information of
Susannah Lawrence< no role >
taken before me this 15th. day of March 1774
Who being upon Oath says that on or about the 29th. day of
January last Mr. Fountain of Fishmonger Alley and two more
Persons brought to this Informant's house a Quantity of Goods
which this Informant believes were Hosiery Goods (the said Mr.
Fountain having before taken a Room of this Informant's Husband
to put them in) that on a Sunday about a Week or a fortnight
after the said Goods were brought to this Informant's house
the Said Mr. Fountain and Derrick Martin< no role >
now present came
together to this Informant's house and went up into the Room where
the said Goods were, that on the Monday following the said Derrick
Martin and another Man who had but one eye came again to
this Informant's house & went up to the said Goods and when
they came down again the said Derrick Martin< no role >
bad this Informt
tell the said Mr. Fountain that he believed he had got a
person who would buy the said Goods, that about a fortnight or
3 weeks afterwards the said Mr. Fountain and another strange
Person came to this Informant's house' and carried away the
said Goods
