The Information of Elizabeth Neil< no role > and Thomas
Read< no role > taken before me this 21st. day of
October 1772

Who being upon Oath say and first the said Elizabeth Neil for herself
says that in or about the Month of April 1771 Mrs Eliz. Moore< no role > who then
lodged nearatthis Informants house delivered to this Informant a Bill of
Exchange or produced of Saml, & Geo Penrose upon Smith Wright & Gray
in London for twenty two pounds two Shillings and four pence half penny
payable to the Order of Eliza Moore< no role > at twenty one days sight dated Waterford
Aprill 12th. 1771 which Bill of Exchange this Informant delivered to a
person now present who calls himself Benjamin Bird< no role > in order to get
it accepted, that the said Bill of Exchange was not then indorsed by
the said Elizabeth Moore< no role > or any other person and that the Name
Eliz Moore< no role > now indorsed upon the said Bill of Exchange is not the
Indorsoment of the said Elizabeth Moore< no role > Int is false forged and
counterfeit, and the said Thomas Read< no role > for himself says that the
said Benjamin Bird< no role > now present uttered and published to this
Informant as true the said Bill of Exchange with the said forged
Indorsement of Eliz Moore< no role > thereon, and that he does verity believe
the said Benjamin Bird< no role > Knew the said Indorsement to be folsely
made forged and counterfeited and that he published the same
as true with Intention to defraud this Informants Master
Robert Thompson< no role > in the City of London
