The Information of Nathaniel Kirkby< no role > of Lothbury
in the City of London Warehouse man taken before
me this 17th day of July 1772 .

Who being upon Oath says that about the latter End of March or
beginning of April last a Person now present who calls himself
George Stephen Hearsey but who then assumed the name of
Thomas Jones< no role > uttered and published as time to this Informantas
tonein the City of London a Bill of Exchange now produced
purporting to be the Bill of Exchange of Thomas Price< no role > upon
Henry Townsend< no role > Esqr . Parliament Street for One Hundred Pounds
Payable to Thos.Jones< no role > or his order One Month after date; dated
London April 7 1772. and endorsed Thomas Jones< no role > And this
Informant further says he doth verily believe that the said
George Stephen< no role > Hearsey Feloniously uttered and Published
the said Bill of Exchange to this Informant knowing it to
be false forged and Counterfeited with Intention to Defraud
this Informant
