To the Right Honble the Lord
Mayor, and the rest of his Majesty's
Justices of the Peace for the City
of London in their General Quarter
Session of the Peace assembled.

The Humble Petition and Appeal of the
Churchwardens and Overseers of the Poor
of the Parish of St. Martin in the Fields in
the County of Middx.

Sheweth


That by Virtue of an Order of Removal
under the hands and Seals of F. Cokayne and
Brass Crosby< no role > Esqrs . two of his Majesty's Justices
of the Peace for the said City of London bearing
date the Sixteenth day of September last John
Barker
< no role > was Removed from the Precinct of
White fryers London to the said Parish of Saint
Martin in the fields in the County of Middlesex
as the place of his last legal Settlement
whereby your Petrs. apprehend themselves
aggrieved

Your Petrs. therefore humbly
appeal to this Court against the
said Order of Removal And
Pray that the Benefit of the
said Appeal may be saved to
your Petrs. and that the hearing
and determining thereof be
adjourned to the next General
Session of the Peace to be holden
for the said City.

And your Petrs. will Pray Etc.
