Application having been that he had Acted from Mistake and
misinformation and he not having Offered to restore the Money received under
such mistake after the mistake and misinformation were removed
The Attorney General Considers That as directly contradicting the
pretence and a Continuation of the same Conduct after it was known to
be Illegal And that at the same Time Mr. Attorney General Was
pleased to Signify that if the Court (meaning at this present Session)
thought proper to Adjourn the said Trials he would on the said
other Deponent Bowman Brown< no role > returning the Money he had
received of the said Prosecutors with their Courts put unto them
before him he would grant him the said Deponent Bowman Brown
leave for to make a further Application for a Noli Prosequi in the
said Affair or used Words to that or the like Effect And the
said Deponent Bowman Brown for himself further Sayth that he
is both willing and desirous to return the said Money so as aforesaid
by him received together with the said Costs and did this day for
that purpose declare the same to both Counsel and Attorney for
the said prosecutions in Writing under his this Deponents own
Hand And the said Abraham Baurain< no role > for himself Sayth
that he this Deponent did this day serve the said two paper
Writings Signed by the said Deponent Bowman Brown which
are hereunto also Annexed the one on Mr. Stow Counsel for the
said Prosecutors by leaving a true Copythereofof that to him
directed under the Door of his Chambers his Clerk refusing to
receive the same and the othertoon the said Mr. J Anson by
leaving a true Copythereofthat to him directed at his Chambers
with his Clerk.
