Indictments

William Proby< no role > Clerk to Francis Salt of Lothbury London
Gentleman Bowman Brown the Defendant in these Causes
The said Francis Salt< no role > and Abraham Baurain< no role > of George
Yard White Chapel in the County of Middlesex Weaver
severally make Oath and Say And first the said William
Proby for himself Sayth that he this Deponent did on
Wednesday last serve Mr. I Anson the Attorney for the
Prosecutions in the said six several Indictments with the
Notice hereto Annexed by delivering at his Chambers a true
Copy thereof to his Clerk And the said Bowman Brown
for himself Sayth that at the General Session of Oyer and
Terminer holden for the City of London in October last the Trials
of the said Six several Indictments were to have been heard
But the Court upon this Deponent Application was pleased
to Adjourn the said six Trials untill the then following
Session so that this Deponent might have an Opportunity
of Applying for a Noli prosequi to be entered upon the said
Indictments since which this Deponent hath Applied
to Mr. Attorney General for the same And the said Francis
Salt for himself Sayth that on Wednesday Evening last he
wanted on Mr. Attorney General according to Appointment
concerning the said Noli Prosequi and was Informed to the purport
and Effect following to wit In the Indictments against Boweman
Brown The Attorney General does not think fit to Order
a Noli prosequi His reason is that the Ground of the
