and Thomas Hayton< no role > of the same (servant to the
sd. John Crisp< no role > ) severally make oath as followe the
And first ye sd. John Crisp< no role > for himself saith that he
this Deponent having for nine years Last past
and Upwards, (as authorised by Act of Parliament
in the cases made and provided) made it part
of his business or Employ to procure or provide
for merchants and other Psons of ye. highting
reputation & credit in the City, covenant
Servants to go a broad to his Majtie Plantatied
And that one John Jones< no role > of (or who styles him
self of) merioneth em north wales , Black smith
and John Cox< no role > of London Carpenter , having some time
in or about the beginning of January last past, as
applied him and themselves to this Deponent,
Signifying their desire or willingness to go to the
plantation of Jamaica in their aforesd. Capacitied
Whereupon by Indentures bearing date respectively
on or about the fourth and Eighteenth days of January
aforesd. the first thereof well made between the sd. John Jones< no role > of the one
part, and this Deponent of the other part And the
other thereof made Between the sd. John Cox< no role > of the One
part, and this Deponent of the other part, they ye. said
Jones and Cox Did thereby covenant and Agree with
this Deponent his Executors and Assigns, the [..]
respectively wd. (as faithful covenant servants) well
truly serve this Deponent his Extors or Assigns in the said
Plantation of Jamaica for the space of four years next of [..]
his & their arival there, in their aforesd. several Employment
of a Blacksmith & Carpenter and the sd. Jones did thereby
covenant yt. he was then of ye. age of thirty one, and ye sd.
Cox thereby declared himself to be twenty seven years
old, & that neither of them was or were covenant, or contract [..]
servants to any other Pson or Psent; And this Deponent
did in consideration thereof by ye. sd. Indentures covenant
