the General Session of Goal Delivery for the said City
Assembled.

The Humble Petition of William Adams< no role > a Prisoner
in Newgate .

Sheweth

That your Petitioner on the fifteenth day of February
Instant was committed to His Majesty's Goal of Newgate for
the said City and County of Middlesex by John Fielding< no role > Esqr
One of His Majesty's Justices of the Peace for the said County
being charged before him on the Oaths of Samuel Baldwin< no role >
and Humphrey Bache< no role > for feloniously Publishing as true
in the said City a certain false forget and counterfeited
Receipt for the Payment of Money for Over Entry of Wines in
his Majesty's Custom house in the Port of London and
thereby defrauding his said Majesty of the sum of two
Hundred and fifty pounds and upwards contrary to the
Statute &

Your Petitioner therefore most humbly Prays
that at this present Session of Goal Delivery of
Newgate holden for the said City of London
He may be either tried (Bailed or discharged
for the Felony aforesaid Pursuant to the Statute
in such Case made and Provided.
