To the Right Honorable the Lord Mayor of the City of
London and the rest of his Majestys Justices in their General
Session of goal delivery of Newgate holden for the said City Assembled

The Humble Petition of James Elliot< no role >

Sheweth


That your Petitioner on the 2st day of December last
was Committed to his said Majestys goal of New Gate by John
Fielding
< no role > Esqr . one of his Majestys Justices of the Peace for the County
of Middlesex being Charged on the Oath of one William King< no role > for
feleniously and Burglariously breaking and Entering the Dwelling
House of the said William King< no role > in the night time in the City of London
and Feloniously taking and Carrying away about Twenty three Pounds
in Gold three Bank Notes Value Seventy Pounds one metal Watch two
Gold Rings and other things the Property of the Said William King< no role > agt.
the Peace Etc.

Your Petitioner therefore most
humbly Prays that at this Present Session
of Goal Delivery of Newgate holden for the said
City he may be either Tried Bailed or discharged
for the felony and Burglary aforesaid Pursuant to
the Statute in such base made and Provided.
