Swearing this Affidavit, is of the proper hand writing of the
said Henry Masterman< no role > with whose handwriting this
Deponent is well acquainted having often seen him
write and was sent by the said Henry Masterman< no role > to the
said John Sharpe< no role > on or about the time the same bears
date and that the said Henry Masterman< no role > was the Clerk
in Court for the Crown for the Trial of the said Rebells and
who is now and has been for some time past in
Yorks lane as Dept has been informed & beleives And
this Deponent Saith the reason of delaying the
Prosecution against the said Betts is owing to the
Difficulties that Arise in the Method of Moulding therein
and which is now under Consideration of the Attorney
General.
