Indictment sets forth that

late of London
Widow
on the 25th day of March in the
24th. Year of the Reign of our Sovereign Lord George the Second King of Great britain Etca. and continually
aferwards untill the day of the taking of this Inquisition with free and Arms at London that is to say at the
Parish of St. Botolph without Aldgate
in the Ward of Pertsoken
in London afsd. did and Yet doth keep and maintain
a certain common and ill governed and disorderly house And in the said house for her own lucre and gain
certain persons both Men and Women of evil Name and same and dishonest conversation to frequent and come together ye.
same Day & Year abovesaid and divers other Days & times during the time afsd. there unlawfully & willfully did
cause and procure And the said Persons in the same House at unlawfull times as well in the Night as the day
then & the sd. other days & times there to be & remain tipling Whering & misbehaving themselves unlawfully
and wilfully did permit To the great damage & comon Nusance of al the liege Subjects of our sd. Lord ye. King
To the evil Example of all others in the like Case offending And agt. the peace of our said Lord the King his
Crown and Dignity.
