Time afterwards. And this Informant further sayth
that the said Sparry advised this Informant to
receive the said one Guinea and Note for another
Guinea telling him the Deft was gone to see and
he believed this Informant would never get any more
bet that if he did return contrary to depecta [..] be
said Sparry would endeavour to get him the rest.

Richard Truly< no role > of St. Margarets. Westmr . in the County
aforesaid Gent maketh Oath that Wm. Sparry< no role >
aforesaid delivered unto him the said Richard the
aforesaid Receipt, and that at the Time of his
Delivery thereof the [..] said Receipt was written
in the following Manner. 5th. July 1748. Then had and
recd [..] Mr. Wm Sparry< no role > the Sum of Eighteen Pound
two Shillings and three Pence in Money and Security
a full and ample Satisfaction Etc and that the
words [..] the sum of Eighteen Pounds two Shillings
and three Pence were outerlined and this Informant
further sayth that the said Sparry delivered the
said Receipt to him as the Poor and lawful Receipt
of Mr. Isaac Rayner< no role > and declared that he had paid
the said Sum of Eighteen Pound two Shillings and
three pence for the use of Defendant Clark to be
charged to the Account of Dr . Robert James< no role > This name instance is in a workspace. who
And undertaken to save this Informant [..] he
this Informant having been Bail for the said Clark
in the said Action at the Request of Dr. James
