This Examinant Confesseth and saith that the receipt aforesd::

aforesaid to wit these words the Sum of Eighteen Pounds
two Shillings and three Pence is all of this Examinants on [..]
hand writing and saith that this Examinant wrote the said
Receipt at one and the same time to the best of his Knowledge
and saith that the Interlianation was wrote before the said

for a Satisfaction for
the debt and Costs recovered by the sd. Rayner agt.the said

for which this Informt had made himself
responable [..] and for which Sum said Sparry had a Receipt
from the sd. Rayner, and which receipt sd. Sparry promised
